FabLab

To develop a FabLab for Northern Ireland, split over two sites in Belfast and Derry-Londonderry, and networked internationally, to deliver the empowering potential of the FabLab concept directly into our communities. The FabLab will be used as a tool to: (1) Promote Community, District, Area, National, European and International Networking and lead to exchange of best practice between Northern Ireland and other FabLabs from post-conflict and conflict areas around the world for instance in the Basque region leading to a mutual learning curve. (2) Provide a shared space for young people, victims, survivors and other marginalised target groups in Northern Ireland to explore and develop their creative and entrepreneurial skills in both a local and subsequently international arena.
