PEACE III: Crows On The Wire App Launch
Video Description
Project - development of an App - focused on acknowledging and dealing with the past. The latest film from the Verbal Arts, Crows on the Wire project presents aspects of the post-performance discussions held with invited panel and audience members following performances during the highly successful Crows on the Wire tour in November 2013. Contributions are from discussions in Derry-Londonderry, Omagh, Coleraine and Letterkenny. Set in context with performance clips and related photography stills, the film is a powerful evocation of the range of views and experiences exchanged in response to the themes of the production. Film produced by the Verbal Arts Centre. This project is funded under the EU's PEACE III Programme, managed for the SEUPB by the consortium of Pobal and the Community Relations Council. Crows on the Wire, commissioned by the Verbal Arts Centre in 2013, is a play by Jonathan Burgess. It is set on November 3, 2001, the day the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) became the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
