Project Details

Cross Border Networking, Good Practice and Engagement Project

The project aims to exploit the potential for mutual understanding, respect for differences and reconciliation through engaging in cross border exchanges and sharing of good practice. It also aims to establish and build positive, sustainable relationships between all participants on the project from both Catholic and Protestant communities. There will be a focus on targeting groups or individuals within existing North East PEACE III Projects who have a role to play within their communities in tackling physical segregation but who need additional support to understand the processes involved. In this way the benefits gained extend beyond the lifetime of the project. The project will assist 400 participants to make sustainable links with the Border Region. Participants will take part in facilitated workshops and discussions on how to build good relations.
