Peer Leadership Project

This piece of work will incorporate the following elements: The Peer Leadership project aims to address these issues with young people of age 15-25 and empower them to build friendships and relationships on a cross community basis. It will include the following elements: Young people understand the value and role of youth leadership and share learning with their peers; Young people are aware of a range of peace building delivery tools available to support youth leadership; Young people are aware of the benefits of community participation and leadership in peace building; Young people have an understanding of what peace building means in the NE Peace III Cluster area; Young people are supported to become involved in peace building activities. Young leaders will be supported to develop skills in the following key areas: Leadership; Personal development; Peace building; Identity and culture; Building relationships; Family and friends.
