Develop resources that allow the local Steering Group share operational information between agencies to: co-ordinate activities in local communities that supports peace building and good relations by addressing issues around sectarianism and racism; recognise the cross-cutting nature of peace building work particularly in priority areas and the requirement for community development and youth work across the district; Review and assess the capacity building needs in local communities identified in the ICR report from Phase I and the cohesion strategies completed by Mediation NI and explore how the steering group can facilitate and co-ordinate the efforts of stakeholders and statutory agencies to address capacity building needs of the statutory, community and voluntary sector to deliver peace building work. Develops the Steering group as an effective interagency partnership that: Sustains peace building at a local level after the PEACE III funding is finished; Provides an exit strategy for peace building projects in priority areas effectively linked to Good Relations Programme and Neighbourhood Renewal and other mainstream initiatives.
