Ballybeen Women's Centre- Good Relations Project

Funding is being sought to employ a good Relations Officer to develop and implement a range of programmes and initiatives that promote peace and reconciliation. The programmes and events will aim to break down sectarian and racist prejudices and increase knowledge, understanding and respect for participants own culture and identity as well as that of others from across the political, cultural and ethnic spectrum. The project will target those most marginalised within communities objectively defined as disadvantaged and who often feel excluded from the current peace process.
