Lisburn Youth Connects

This is a youth project that will work in three areas of Lisburn including Hillhall estate, Hilden and the Rural Maze area. The project will develop a good relations programme that will look at issues such as secterianism, racism, partnership working and citizenship. The programme will include 20 young people completeing OCN Level 1 in Community Relations as well as participaiting in information talks on the relevant issues. The project will involve teambuilding exercises as well as diversionery activities and a cross border exchange hopefully with the Lisburn City Council's partner town in the South of Ireland. The project will end with a showcase of its work and presentaion night.
