Project Details

New Beginnings, New Friends

The project will include three main target groups - youth volunteers, children and those from the minority ethnic population. The project will be themed around specific pieces of work to include training on good relations and cultural identity, cross community and cross border contact and integrational work with minority ethnic groups. This project will target a broad section of the community including children and young people, volunteers and the minority ethnic population. The need for the project has been identified from those groups within the community who have been working with the target groups. Old Warren has an ethos of developing good relations and this continues to be the case with attitudes towards sectarianism and racism being challenged.
