TRIBES - Talking Reconciliation, Initiating Brdges, Enriching Society

The TRIBES Programme is designed to reach out and engage young people from isolated, religiously polarised areas and create the basis for meaningful cross community contact. It plans to build on previous cross community personal and social development work with TSN young people and build on partnerships fostered under the Lisburn Castlereagh Peace III Small Grants Programme Making a Difference as well as previous Peace II funded work. There will be a focus on mixing strands of previous single identity work conducted in the areas of Poleglass, Twinbrook, Old Warren, Hill Hall and Harmony Hill to provide a fresh programme for local young people which crosses the sectarian and economic divides which exists between primarily nationalist and primarily unionist areas in the cluster area.
