Project Details

Dreamscheme - Future Together

The Dreamscheme Future Together project aims to confront sectarianism and racism by engaging young people aged 13-18 years from a number of areas of Castlereagh (single identity and mixed identity) where they are isolated and polarised in their own communities and unable to mix in other areas for fear of intimidation. The project will use the successful proven and tested Dreamscheme model of WORK=POINTS=TRIPS to motivate, recruit, engage and reward the young people into a programme of community work, educational and recreational activities which will provide an opportunity for them to work together, understand one another better, gain respect for others and challenge their thinking.
