Somme Visit

To take 15 Protestants and 15 Catholics in the Magherafelt Housing Estates, to the International School for Peace Studies, Messines, Belgium in August 2009. This visit will be organised by Mr Glen Barr and his staff, the Ebrington Centre, Glendermott Road, Derry-Londonderry. These 30 people will hear how in 1917, the Unionist 36th Ulster Division and the Nationalist 16th Irish Division fought side by side. This visit will be for 5 days and 4 nights. The course is accredited. Each of the 30 participants will have course work to do during the visit and if successful will be awarded a OCN certificate. The staff from the Ebrington Centre, Glendermott Road, Waterside, Derry-Londonderry will be in complete control of the visit.
