Moygashel Peace Building Programme

Through consultation and engagement with the community a project has been developed that will deliver a peace and reconciliation capacity building programme for a cross community representation of people from the area complemented by the cultural development and the creation of a shared space for cross community and cultural use in the middle of the area of Moygashel, between the three main residential estates. The peace and reconciliation capacity programme will target 20 people from across the area representing different community and cultural backgrounds with a mixture of people young and old. The cultural development programme and shared space will target up to 100 local people again representative of the community across the area and will be delivered in partnership with the Council and Linengreen Board (who are keen to engage with the community to address issues of flags and emblems).
