Music Across Borders

The Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland (CBOI) is made up of 150 young people from different communities on both sides of the border. The CBOI will work with up to 1,000 children in 2010 providing choral workshops for them and opportunities for them to meet and interact with children from different backgrounds and traditions. Children will be drawn from schools on both sides of the border. The project will culminate in a performance at the Waterfront Hall Belfast giving the children the opportunity to perform with a full symphony orchestra lead by some of Ireland's top professional musicians.
