Project Details

Drogheda Intercultural Drama Project

One part of the project is dedicated to bringing young African and Irish people together. They will create an original work that addresses the issue of racism. A series of workshops will be designed around the performance and the package will be promoted to schools during anti-racism week. The other element of the project is to work with adults from both the African and Irish community. They will, through a series of workhsops, devise an original performance based on their reaction to the intercultural experience in Ireland. This will be presented to the public.
