Project Details

MuPaPu

The project aims to build a puppet show to be part of an intercultural float for the St. Patricks Day Parade. By using the theme of Myths and Legends as a starting point, storytelling and discussion can take place around the various legendary heroes and heroines that are familiar to all cultures. The storytelling element allows participants to talk about their heritage in a facilitated and safe environment, and to explore the qualities of the personalities involved in their myths, their strengths and weaknesses and their adventures. The project will encourage a mix of theses personality traits to be included in the construction of their own puppet characters and further to that, will allow them to construct their own puppet adventure.
