Project Details

Louth Minority Ethnic Consortium

The project proposes the development of a minority ethnic partnership. The initial aim will be to come together to address issues of difference, ethnicity, culture and religion. This will present challenges and opportunities to explore issues of racism and sectarianism and will develop north south relationships with similar organisations working in this area. In doing so, we will develop the capacity of local minority ethnic, including Traveller, organisations to engage with decision makers as well as NGOs in majority communities to help promote positive relations at a local level and challenge racist and sectarian attitudes.
