The Louth Sharing Our Community Project

Sharing our Community will target 200 secondary school students in Louth from areas most affected by the conflict and 60 students from Newry High School. It will include those at the margins of society, members of the travelling community and immigrants. Sharing our Community has four elements: Peace and Reconciliation Classroom Based Workshops; Cross Community Workshops; Students carry out a Reconciliation Project; Cross Border Event. On completion of the Sharing Our Community project, students will have a better understanding of difference and diversity and will have learned how to challenge attitudes to sectarianism and racism.
