They Served With Us - Remembering Commonwealth Military Veterans

Intercomm Ireland, in partnership with North and West Parades Forum and the Royal British Legion, seek to widen dialogue on the challenges and impact of racism in Belfast. Drawing on experiences of former members of the Armed Forces, 5 seminars will discuss memories of working with Commonwealth military personnel. Key aims will include a publication, of memories, and a 10 minute DVD of interviewees highlights for distribution during Remembrance 2009 events in Belfast. A key objective will be enabling former Armed Forces personnel to promote local leadership skills and develop good and better relations between people living and working in Belfast.
