Project Details

Féile Youth Festival

Féile aims to develop a fringe festival alongside our main August programme that will be aimed solely at young people from across the city. Féile will use both City Centre and venues across the city to create interactive, educational and artistic events aimed at creating better relations and developing greater understanding of our cultures, traditions and diversity within the city. The key themes of this project are based on those of our August Féile, namely: literature, drama, visual art, music, discussion/debates and community development. This fringe festival will be aimed solely at young people between the ages of 12 and 18 years. The project will create a broader audience base as groups will be selected from both Unionist and Nationalist areas, as well as those from ethnic minority groups.
