Creating Carnival Together – Shared Celebration In Our City

To extend the beneficial impact of the Belfast City Carnival on Shared Cultural Space in the City in 2010 and 2011, Beat will Run a community-based programme focused on improving Festival and Carnival production, performance, collaboration and aspiration. This will be done through: building capacity in targeted areas of the City, with local community and youth groups; skills training with artists, community and youth leaders and their groups; improving quality of participation by developing coordinated goals; and by working with key representatives though a City-wide consortium approach.
