Reaching Out

The project is intended to create opportunities to develop positive relationships between individuals within the Orange tradition and inviduals within the Catholic community in an interface area of North Belfast. The project will involve capacity building, creating interpretive facilities, exhibitions and gallieries within the local Orange Hall, training individuals to organise and deliver tours and discussions; as well as a range of outreach programmes to raise awareness of the Orange tradition and encourage debate and discussion between people in the Orange tradition and people in the Catholic community. The project will also seek to encourage other Orange Halls to develop similar initiatives.
