Shaping A Shared Future

Intercomm seeks to establish a Memorandum of Understanding, on collaborative partnership working between all those community groups engaged in peacebuilding, conflict resolution and community relations activities across the city of Belfast. Structured around four key themes: Partnership; Employment; Leadership; Peace, the Memorandum of Understanding will identify all those groups engaged in such activity, across Belfast. Through this project Intercomm will establish who does what, when, where and how. Developing this common understanding will enable Intercomm to identify those key organisations and groups who are most active, effective and efficient in such work. Developing an understanding of a shared organisational space within the community sector will help groups work collaboratively, to maximise their potential to be a local sustainable change maker and minimize duplication of services or competition for resources.
