CAKE - Building Better Relations Project

Project will consist of the development of Programmes to stimulate a greater level of community integration and participation though the use of consolation and lessons learnt from the legacy of the past within the area of Killygordon and Meenreagh. These will include youth, elderly, lone parents and socially deprived within the catchments area of Killygordon and outlining areas. The development officer will be challenged with: the development of programmes that will involve all of the above groups from both sides of the community and both sides of the border; the identification of various ethnic groups and under privileged residents within the area; providing suitable courses and programmes and increasing the level of participation within community work.
