The Boyne and Aughrim: A Study of the History of the Protestant Culture

This project will work with the minority Protestant community to help them build thier confidence through increasing their awarness of the history and culture surrounding their community while also strengthening cross border social infrastructure by twining with a group of a similar nature in a neighbouring County In Northern Irleand. The main action of this project will be to visit the battle sites of the Battle of the Boyne and Aughrim: this will give the groups from both sides of the border the opportunity for a frank and open discussion on their shared history.
