This project is about building better relationships between the Traveller community and settled community through the workplace. We are proposing to create opportunities to encourage employers to employ members of the Traveller community or create work placements. This project is about creating up to three part time work placements and support for two new employees (private or public) to employ travellers. It is our belief that through direct contact, working alongside each other, building individual relationships and valuing each others contributions in the work place and outside that we contribute to improve relationships across communities and reduce conflict. Pave Links is about reducing conflict that is significantly on the increase locally through contact in local employment arenas
