Island of Saints and Scholars

To provide a place of welcome for each individual no matter what their background. We seek to bring them into an experience that will awaken their spirit to a new and deeper reality which transcends a de-formative cultural existence. Develop and present programmes to deal specifically with love of nature, the need for reconciliation, conflict resolution, tolerance and respect for difference, finding common ground, healing the spiritual dimension of the person, suicide prevention, character formation and male spirituality. We aim to provide free transport to the centre from key locations across Derry and Donegal as it is our experience presently that transporation is a major issue for many disadvantaged communities within our catchment area who would desire to benefit from the tranquility, peace and green health offered at the Celtic Garden and supported by supportive workshops.
