Participation and Integration of Asylum Seekers and Refugees

The organisation wishes to access funding to support initiatives promoting the integration of asylum seekers and refugees - with an aim to raising awarness around issues as well as giving this marginlaised and excluded group of people an opportunity to interact with the surrounding community. The project would like to focus on areas where it has already had success at some level in the local area: Schools project; Including Asylum Seekers and Refugees in volunteering; Facilitating Asylum Seekers and Refugees in access to eduation and training; Supporting social, sporting and leisure activities which bring the target group into contact with the community.
