The Planter and the Gael

The Planter and the Gael: perspectives on the Planatation will bring together cross community, cross border groups in the Derry City Council area, Letterkenny, Stranorlar and Inishowen Electoral Areas to raise their awareness and increase their knowledge of the Plantation and its historic significance. Following a period of consultation, discussion and learning these groups, comprising of women, older people, members of minority communities and ex- prisioners in these areas will present their suggestions on how to commemorate and or celebrate the Plantation and how they as members of the community might be involved in such a commenmoration.
